Micronesia Mall announces spectacular Mall–o–ween festivities featuring costume contest with over $3,500 in prizes, followed by Halloween night celebration.

Micronesia Mall is set to transform into Guam's ultimate Halloween destination with two major events to end October 2024. The highlight kicks off with the much–anticipated “Mall–o–ween Costume Contest” on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 1PM to 4PM in the Micronesia Mall Center Court, followed by the “Trick or Treating & Dance Party” on Halloween night.

The costume contest, featuring over $3,500 in premium prizes, invites creative minds across three dynamic categories: Duos/Groups, Individuals 12 & Below, and Individuals 13 & Above. Participants can vie for top honors including 1st through 3rd place awards, special superlatives such as Funniest, Spookiest, and Cutest/Most Creative, plus the coveted Best In Show title. Pre–registration is currently open online at bit.ly/mall0ween, with limited spots available. While same–day registration will be accepted at the Center Court starting at 10AM, it is recommended to pre–register to guarantee your spot.

The Mall has curated an impressive prize pool that rewards creativity and spirit. Winners can look forward to over $2,000 in Foot Locker gift cards, tons of movie dates from MM Theatres, character speakers and gift certificates from IT&E, gift certificates from Potato & Cloud, gift cards from Jeans Warehouse, and special Halloween baskets and great food giveaways from Burger King.

An esteemed judging panel features Margie Dancel, Executive Producer of World Theater Productions; Krystal Paco, Director of Communications for the Leon Guerrero–Tenorio administration and accomplished singer; and talented social media influencer and musician Daryl Garcia. The dynamic Ed Suarez will serve as emcee, with DJ Lezeah providing musical entertainment. A special “Thriller” performance by World Theater Productions will add to the festivities.

The Halloween celebrations continue on Thursday, October 31, with the Trick or Treating & Dance Party from 5PM to 8PM. The evening features DJ entertainment, disco and party lights, and an open dance floor to energize trick–or–treaters before they explore the Mall's participating shops starting at 6PM. Throughout the night, attendees can enjoy special giveaways while collecting treats from various retailers.
