Join us on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 11:00am to 3:00pm at the Micronesia Mall Center Court for an exciting and immersive celebration of CHamoru culture, heritage, and community spirit to conclude Mes CHamoru.

The first-ever Micronesia Mall-organized Mes CHamoru event will kick off with a traditional bendision (blessing) led by the Maga'låhen Hurao CHamoru Academy Charter School and the Business and Technology Academy Charter School (BTACS). Following the bendision, enjoy dynamic performances by the Maga'låhen Hurao CHamoru Academy Charter School, BTACS, and Tatuha Hula, Fire, and Cultural Dancers as they bring Guam’s rich traditions to life through dance, music, and storytelling.

Explore an array of inspiring displays and local art at the event! In collaboration with the Guam Council on the Arts & Humanities Agency (CAHA) and Artspace Guåhan, enjoy live art workshops and demonstrations, along with a one-day art exhibit in Space 121/122 (next to Beyond the Box) featuring local artists. Furthermore, take in a life-size CHamoru galaide at the event, presented by the Guam Kayak & Canoe Federation. Moreover, artist and author Francis Labrador, the creative behind Aniti: The Gathering, a locally published work inspired by CHamoru myths and legends, will also be present at the event.

In the mood for some learning? Put your knowledge to the test with the CHamoru & Guam Trivia Challenge for a chance to win fantastic prizes. Participate in hands-on cultural stations and other engaging mini games in celebration of Mes CHamoru. Learn about local and educational initiatives dedicated to preserving CHamoru traditions through Island Girl Power, Maga'låhen Hurao CHamoru Academy Charter School, Junior Achievement Guam, and the Guam Bus. Enjoy a mini language workshop/lesson by Dr. Michael Lujan Bevacqua.

Indulge in a taste of the islands with special food samples prepared by the talented Guam Community College (GCC) Culinary Arts Program, showcasing the unique flavors of the native people of the Marianas.

Feeling metgot (strong/tough)? Test your spice tolerance in the ultimate Donne’ Challenge! Contestants will battle it out to see who can handle the heat, with the last one standing crowned the SUPER PIKA champion! The winner will take home an exciting prize package courtesy of Micronesia Mall and MM Theatres, with consolation prizes for 2nd and 3rd placers.
